Derrick will do anything to be a famous actor, but he's about to learn to be careful what he asks for. Derrick, while working in the back of a night club frequented by celebrities, is discovered by a mysterious man with an even more mysterious acting role. Derrick is given simple instructions if he really wants the fame that he's after. It isn't until the audition that he learns exactly what he'll have to do for the role...and who he'll have to become. A daily dose of pills, some crossdressing, and wild on screen behavior are all required with a little help from a woman named Bex. But the real adventure is what happens to Derrick's body - and his life - behind the scenes.
