A Cold Chicago Love Story by Black Lavish
Chicago’s winters were infamous for being cold, but not many people talked about just how cold it got in the hood.

Lavish Sanchez knew all to well and learned at a very young age that the city of Chicago didn’t love anyone.

After her kingpin mother and father were killed at her sixth birthday party, she was sent to Texas to live with her grandparents. Lavish grew up unhappy and promiscuous, trying to fill the void of losing her parents and being uprooted from the only home she knew.

Hungry for the luxurious life she lived as a child, Lavish, now 23, sets off to Chicago to strip her way to the top in a now unfamiliar city.

Soon after arriving, she realizes that the fast Chicago life was nothing like she remembered as a child, and it began to take her fast from the moment she stepped off the plane.

Lavish is met with new and old problems that take her through the wire in just a few short weeks. She soon learns that Chicago did have love for everyone; it was just a cold, bitter love that no one wanted.
