The Holiday Mix Up by Avery Ford
“I will not spend the week before Christmas with him.”

Nathan Hayes can’t wait to get away. After weeks of hectic holiday deadlines, he jumps at a chance to review a new upscale resort in the mountains for the newspaper he works for. A few days of secluded relaxation will make the prospect of spending another Christmas alone in Manhattan a lot easier to handle. But when he gets there, he realizes there’s been a terrible mistake.

“I don’t know where you’re going, but you can’t stay here.”

Cole Dawson isn’t really looking forward to a week alone in the mountains, but at least there will be some perks. Like wine. And good food. And the chance to avoid the craziness that descends upon Manhattan during the Christmas season. Discovering that he’ll have a chance to get under Nate Hayes’ skin for a couple of days is just the icing on the cake.

“I’d rather walk home in a blizzard than spend the night with you.”

When a blizzard shuts down the only road out of the resort, Nathan and Cole realize they might have to settle in for a little longer than they had planned. To make matters worse, the hotel is overbooked and they’ve somehow managed to assign Nathan and Cole to the same room. At the same time. With nowhere else to go, they make a bet. And that’s when things start to get interesting.

A Gay Christmas Romance.
