The Last Christmas by Hannah Schrock
With her mother suffering from illness, her sister missing and her boyfriend spending time with another girl, Christmas looks pretty bleak for Sarah Miller.

Christmas is around the corner, but Sarah isn’t feeling very cheerful. Her mother doesn’t seem to be recuperating well. Besides tending to her mother, taking care of the chores and making time to see her boyfriend, Amos, she’s also trying to find her sister who’s been missing for almost three years.

For Ruth Miller, life is not going too well. She left Lancaster County three years before, following an embarrassingly broken engagement, and was now settled to an Englisch existence in Philadelphia, with a good job and a handsome boyfriend, Timothy. But relations between her and Timothy were not as they should be.

When Sarah sees Amos with another girl, she feels as if just another part of her life is falling apart. Sarah prayed for a Christmas miracle, but she’s doubtful God is listening. Will her prayers be answered for what might well be her mother’s last Christmas? Enjoy this sweet Amish romance that touches on the bonds of family, new relationships and the challenges that come with both.
