Johnny Black: Lawman: Johnny Black: Man and Legend: The Johnny Black Western Adventure Series Books 1 - 3: From The Author of "Frontier Lawman: A Western Adventure" by Paul L Thompson
The first three books in ‘The Johnny Black Western Adventure Series’ from Gary Church are now together for the first time! Live the excitement and enjoy the continuous adventures of Johnny Black!

Book One:

In 1869, Johnny Black finds himself in a lawless, danger-filled settlement located on the Texas frontier, where Indians, criminals and nature all provide an opportunity for death as he relentlessly pursues the man who murdered his only brother. Obsessed with finding his brother’s killer, Johnny makes himself very visible in a place where people often assume new identities and don’t want to be found. It will require all of Johnny’s experience and skills to stay alive. His man-hunt results in action, adventure and romance, which all combine to reflect life on the Texas frontier and a number of people find their fate is altered; by not only their decisions but by chance meetings with strangers, including one who rides a tall horse.

Book Two:

In the fall of 1871, Johnny finally decides to return to Texas to face his past. Along the way, he is joined by a new friend, Martin, an Irish immigrant who is eager to experience the American West. Johnny and Martin face danger, intrigue, and even a murder trial as they travel along the Shawnee Trail to San Antonio.

Book Three:

It’s March 1871, and Johnny Black has found the life he has been looking for, but circumstances cause him to sign on as trail boss for a cattle drive. On the seven-hundred-mile trip, he finds himself challenged as never before. Not only are three men from Johnny’s past on his trail, intent on killing him, but death is only a heartbeat away as he deals with bad weather, frightened longhorns, and Indians, as well as a diabolical gang with a plan to kill everyone on the drive and take it over.
But the cattle drive isn’t Johnny’s only problem. It takes all of his skills, honed during the Civil War, to deal with the endless challenges he encounters, his life complicated by appeals from his neighbors for help, an assault on a man that Johnny has hired to work at his ranch and an attack on Johnny’s homestead.

You are invited to ride along as Johnny Black deals with life’s challenges. Join his friends, wife and animals as they come to his aid. He can use your help.
