Colton Raynes is a unicorn shifter whose powers are bound in his purity. His father died when he was a child making him the last unicorn. Determined not to follow in his sire's footsteps, he avoids all temptation lest he falls victim to poachers and magical brokers. It all falls apart when the woman who had caught his eye for the last two years, Braeden Burns, decides to pursue him.

A series of amusing and awkward encounters lead to Colt and Braeden going out on a date that forever changes his impression of Braeden. Sparks fly when Colt realizes that how much in common he and Braeden share. Colt has to decide if he can be just friends with her or if he can walk away.
