I'm falling for the enemy, and he's a straight man!

My opposing counsel is so cocky that it's maddening. He thinks he's got me beat in this case, but he's got another thing coming. I didn't work my way up through law school and the ranks of my competitive firm just to watch his hot @ss swagger across the courtroom to deliver a winning oral argument.

Yes, I just said he had a hot @ss. In fact, everything about him is hot. And he knows it, too.

I'm not going to let that distract me, though. It doesn't matter that he's openly flirting with me - he isn't even gay, so he must be able to tell that I am, and I know he's just turning on the charm to take my focus off my case.

Besides, even if I did want him - which I don't,- it's not exactly as if I'm out at work. There are certain stereotypes I must uphold as a lawyer at my prestigious firm and being gay is not one of them.

As I'm diligently pursuing victory for my client, though, Andrew is increasing his pursuit of me . He insinuates that he'd be gay for me and that we could keep it a secret. He seems to think I can keep working my way up the corporate ladder while also going down on him.

Fine, maybe a forbidden fling with him would be fun. But blowing him could blow my whole case - and both of our careers.

So why am I finding myself unable to ignore the powerful hold he has on me?
