Looking through his windshield wipers, Andrew Somerville spots a young woman with a small child at her side, sodden with rain. He pulls off the road and comes to Hannah Currey’s aid, as she tries to escape her abusive ex-husband. Andrew, who considers himself the prodigal of a wealthy family, recalls his difficult past and finds himself tangled in Hannah and little JJ’s life as she struggles against her determined ex to a build a new life. Andrew’s heart melts but can Hannah trust again to accept this wonderful man’s kindness and love.
