Excerpt:

Corina yelled at the butler. “Get the servants to safety, now!”

And the older man fled down the hallway just as two men with daggers appeared.

“Well, well, what do we have here? Jake, what should we do with these two lovely ladies?” Both men grinned at the girls, assuming it would be no contest. The men began to circle them as Jenny and Corina stood back-to-back, each facing an opponent.

“Bend,” Jenny hissed then a moment later screamed, “Bend,” and Corina bent slightly allowing Jenny to leap back and use Corina as a brace.

At the same time, Jenny aimed a powerful kick outward and struck the man called Jake in the forehead with a metal tipped boot heel, and the man dropped like a poleaxed steer.

Around the corner came a third man with a pistol in one hand and a dagger in the other. The two women would now be fighting for their lives.
