Cops & Kids by Beau Brown
An Mpreg Romance

Jackson MacDonald is an omega with opinions. He’s in no hurry to be claimed by an alpha, whether others think he should be or not. Baby’s aren’t his thing, and he’d prefer to focus on his job as a police officer. He’s not thrilled about being sent to Poppy Field as punishment for ignoring a direct order at his other department, but at least he’s still a cop.

Cal Miller has been looking for his omega for years. He’s thirty and more than ready to settle down, but none of the women he’s dating is exactly what he wants in his omega. When he first meets Jackson at a work party, they get off on the wrong foot. When he’s then partnered with Jackson, they struggle to understand each other.

Gradually, Jackson and Cal become good friends. Cal is unsettled about the strange attraction he has toward Jackson, but not brave enough to explore those feelings. Jackson would be happy to help Cal examine his possible bisexuality, but Cal is way too afraid of what other’s might think.

When Cal finally gives into his attraction to Jackson, it’s the best of both worlds: they’re best friends and lovers. But when Jackson gets pregnant, they have to make a decision: get rid of the baby, and keep Cal’s secret safe, or let the world know the truth.

This is a sweet and sexy, contemporary, non-shifter love story with mpreg and a HEA ending. Though part of the Poppy Field Mpreg Series, this standalone story does not need to be read as part of the series.
