Swallowed into time and trapped in a nightmare.

Kennedy is desperate for a way out. She never believed in myths until she found herself swallowed by a serpent's shadow and transported with her best friend Tyler to an ancient civilization.

Outsiders aren't welcomed. In fact, as Kennedy learns the hard way, they're often enslaved.

It's up to her to convince two rival Kings that she'll pay any price if it keeps her and Tyler together and safe. She has to, if she is sold away from the Empire, she may never figure out how to get home.
