The Players Club by J.S. Cooper
A Job Offer that seemed too good to be true
When twenty-two year old Pippa Marshall moved to New York City, she had one goal in mind. She wanted to make it as an actress. She knew it would be hard, but she didn’t think it would be this hard. Stuck living in a ratty old room with no friends to talk to other than her best friend Steph in Florida and her online buddy Max she is desperate to change her life around. When she sees a job advertisement to work at a top bar with no experience necessary, she jumps at the opportunity to make some easy money. Even if the actual job description seems way too good to be true. She knows she shouldn’t take the job, but then she meets Cole Titus and the games begin.

A Man whose armor cannot be pierced.
Thirty year old Cole Titus owns the Players Club. A discrete, underground haven for men with exquisite tastes and secrets galore. He’s serious, charismatic, arrogant, and doesn’t suffer fools gladly. When Pippa Marshall interviews for a job at the club he knows he shouldn’t hire her, but he just can’t stop himself. There’s something about her innocent smile and uncomfortable humor that draws him to her. He knows he can’t let her in too close, but he’s willing to play along with her games until the fire gets too hot.

Neither Pippa or Cole are aware of how closely they are connected and how deep and dark their lives are intertwined. Just when Pippa thinks she’s figured out the truth, her whole world comes crashing down around her.
