Finding Home: Redemption in the Mountains by Sarah M. Davis
She’s fiercely independent. He doesn’t date. But when their paths cross, their attraction is undeniable.

Jessie Malone is not happy when she finds out her best friend isn’t who he appears to be. Raised in foster care and fiercely independent, the recent college graduate moves halfway across the country to leave her past behind and start over in a small North Carolina town. She’s not looking for love, but when she has car trouble on the side of an old country road, she meets a man who makes her dream about the family she has always wanted.

Local mechanic and worship leader, Jack Hunt owes his life to his aunt and uncle who took him in when he hit rock bottom and helped him overcome an addiction to drugs and alcohol. When an injury sidelines his uncle, Jack moves back to North Carolina temporarily to help care for the family farm. As he nears the end of his stay on the farm, he meets Jessie and starts to question his future.

The two cannot deny their instant attraction but when Jessie’s past comes back to haunt her, can Jack convince her to stay and fight for their relationship or will she run away?
