Undoubtedly, this girl was new to this place.
A group of men drew near and encircled her. They didn’t even have to be necessarily friends with with her assailant but they couldn’t stand to look at one of the girls unyielding to one of them. If I didn’t step in now, who knows what would happen to her. I looked around the club one more time, but there was still no Linda. Why did this have to happen now?
‘She’s with me’ I said in Greek and got the men’s attention off of the girl and on to me.
‘No one touches her, leave!’ I barked at them.
They were hesitant at first but the Greek know not to bother another man’s woman, so they stepped away slowly.
‘What did you say to them?’ The girl asked in an American accent, she probably didn’t know what this place was.
‘That you’re my girlfriend. We need to leave now before they realize that’s not true.’ I grabbed her by the hand and dragged her out of the club before she had a chance to protest.
