It was supposed to be a simple pool party. Liz has been itching for some excitement and thought that throwing a party with her parents out of town would be a good way to earn some social capital, have a good time, and maybe even snag a guy.

But she doesn't want just any guy. She wants her best friend's dad, local cop Bryan Masters.
