He tried going home but that didn’t work out. Luke and Amber Owens who were both wounded in the same attack invited him to stay at their B&B. So, he goes there but he only just exists there.
After six months of just that and even an attempt on his own life, he meets Wendy Marshall, a former Army corpsman whose dad was blind from birth.
Ross resists Wendy’s help and she struggles with how to reach Ross, but things start changing when he gets his guide dog, Molly. Then he allows Wendy to start helping him learn how to do things for himself.
But someone wants to hurt Wendy and even does once.
