The Man Who Ate the Sun by Michael Whitworth

There was David Bowie, his eyes closed, as if he couldn’t bring himself to look at me.

Thirty-five-year-old Thomas has never done anything wrong. Then one day he does. He works in an office. He has three friends, one car and no excitement. On his way home from work one day, he decides to steal something.

Ellen is in London for two months. A few weeks in the office, then back to New York. Someone has been told to look after her. His name is Thomas.

What could possibly go wrong?

The Man Who Ate the Sun is about the search for happiness. And the unusual choices we make along the way.
