The Better Side of Me by Jerry Cole
Kirk Little’s love life is in a constant state of nothingness. Single, lonely, desperate to meet someone, all of this would be a heck of a lot more achievable if he had even a sliver of self-confidence. Unfortunately, the too-skinny Ancient History Professor would rather charge headfirst into battle, than approach a man on the street. In a desperate bit to change this, he joins his local gym thinking that packing on a little muscle might see a surge in sex appeal and a shift in momentum where his love life is concerned.

Lance Bailey is the hunky, sexpot of a man who Kirk only dreams of being with. Lance is a personal trainer by day, by night he’s a self-professed man-whore that has no desire to be tied down to one single man. Truth be told, nothing could be worse.

Right now, however, Lance has bigger problems to deal with. He’s recently come up with an idea for a business that he knows is a gold mine, the only issue is that he doesn’t have the smarts, or self-belief to pull such an idea off. When he’s forced to train Kirk one day, the two get to talking and realize they can help one another out. If Lance helps Kirk with his body, Kirk will help Lance with his business.

It’s a business-partnership that soon turns into a friendship that soon turns into something much, much more. Kirk thinks he’s beneath Lance. Lance doesn’t think he wants a relationship. But the sexual desire just might be too much for either man to ignore.
