Subluctance: A Knotty Alien Role Reversal Romance by Deiri Di
Ciara is a force of nature.

She is now anyway.

Before she woke up in a human prison camp she was on a never ending streak of bad dates and the inability to look in the mirror and feel self love. That all changed. When she finds herself displaced in time and space, tormented by men who believe that sexiness is a sin, she doesn’t let it break her. When the aliens come to rescue them, she steps up to the plate, fights back, and happily leaves with their new captors… uh… rescuers.

Settling in on the transport ship she finds a whole lot of fun in the form of a nerd.

The only problem is, he has a habit of running away. Luckily there is a ship full of eligible sexy men desperate for the attention of a voluptuous woman.

Yet there is only one guy she really wants.

And there are some serious problems to be sorted out with what is going on with all these women on this spaceship.

Does she have the confidence to step forward and claim the man she wants? Will he let her?

Can she establish leadership in a situation where it's not clear if she is a guest or a captive?

Be aware: This novelette has a LOT of adult language, a dash of violence, steamy knotty romance, boundary exploration, and a healthy dose of consent, communication, and respect.

If you are offended by big beautiful women, wrestling moves, alien physiology, or everyone screaming yes repeatedly, well maybe you should read this little story and get over that.

Subluctance can be read as a stand alone story or as a graphic continuation of the Cryo Crisis series.
