In "The Red Disease," Jet Keoneo is often the topic of conversation. Whether it was his days as a general, the founder of the Insurgo, or father to Ash and Venell, his name was famous across all of Valehoutton. "Winter Blue" is a short story exploring the time when Jet found himself exiled from the Capital when it was discovered he had the Red disease. However, Jet can't seem to escape his past.
