MsFitZ Cafe: Second Chances Served Daily by Jean Thompson-Kinsey
Abby is forced to think outside the box and accept new concepts to replace old traditions as she learns to look at the other side of the coin when chosing what is sometimes right and sometimes wrong. Yet, she must stand staunt with her Christian beliefs.
When Abby chose to employee single moms in order to give them the help she never received, she didn't dream she'd have to deal with wife abuse, bulllying, addiction, discrimination, and the need to forgive. She supports her girls through all these things, but can she accept her own short comings and learn to forgive and love again when her old love appears after abandoning her more than forty-years ago? Her past holds a secret she can't divulge, not if she wants to revive the love she thought lost forever.
Abby's girls came to her broken, but have formed a real slapdash family at MsFitZ. They stick by one another finding time to laugh, to cry, and befriend. They are "Abby's Girls" rather cooking up chicken and dumplings, pulling pranks, or defending each other with kitchen utensils. Everyone laughs, cries, and loves at MsFitz Cafe.
