Lust Jones: The Weekend by Clarq Dillon
LUST JONES
Three stand alone novellas. One book.

THE WEEKEND — Ever been in deep with someone, secure in your knowledge of who this someone is, what this someone means to you, and where the two of you are headed together, only to discover this someone was not who you thought? If so, you have something in common with Ronald Jones. Ron, a construction worker and part-time student, believes he has found love in his relationship with Teri, a vibrant twenty-something who seems steady on her path to success. Things were going well...until Thursday. It only takes one night to change a relationship. A weekend is long enough for it to unravel. Completely.

THE PARTY — After the bitter conclusion of his last relationship, Ronald Jones adopted a new approach to dealing with women—NOTHING SERIOUS—and he seems to be sticking to the plan. There's Lena, a career-minded nurse he's hooked up with for the past few months, no labels, no commitments, but her recent demands on his time and energy make him question their status. Sure, they occasionally spend nights together. Ron helps her with odd jobs around the house. Hell, he's even paid a few bills, but that doesn't make it a relationship. Or does it? A weekend, a party, and a chance encounter with Meg should clear things up.

THE RING — We live and we learn, so the saying goes, and since Ronald Jones is not much different from you and I, that's a concept he should grasp. I mean, who in their right mind falls victim to the same situation three times in a row? You wouldn't, right? And me, I'm no fool; or so I'd like to think. Yet, Ron again finds himself in deep, this time with Jada, a thriving business owner who knows what she wants out of life. When signs show that something isn't right, why does Ron ignore them? Surely, we'd never do that. The weekend Meg shows up, neither will she.
