To Capture a Heart: A Christian Romance Novella by Susan Bateman
Betty was almost twenty when she accepted Christ as her Savior. Her life had been one long struggle after another until Jesus came into her heart. Learning that she could have a new life and friends was what she had been longing. She met Michael and a new course was chartered. They married and had a young child, disillusionment in Michael and in her marriage led her to work more and more. Then tragedy struck and she was all alone, again. Jesus hadn't been there, she thought, no one had been there for her. She was alone and she wanted it to stay that way.

Jeremy had been in love through college and fully expected to marry his college sweetheart, until she broke it off. Devastated he had a large support group of family and friends and was privileged to have all he ever asked. Until disappointment filled his life. Keeping Jesus close was the one thing that kept him moving forward. Then a car came crashing into his life, and nothing was ever the same again.

As they navigate around each other, learn about each other, and begin to trust each other, they grow close. The question seems to be can they have complete trust in Jesus and each other? Will Betty trust Jesus and let go of her past? Will Jeremy accept who Betty is and trust her not to run away?
