Olive Beckham and Edwina Wiley are two roommates sharing an apartment. The two women become fast friends and then business partners. However, their idyllic life suffers a shock when Olive's brother - Odell Beckham - comes into their lives. Odell has had a rough life and served time in prison. He has nowhere to go and turns to his sister for a roof over his head. Olive is perplexed because her apartment doesn't allow men and women to share apartments. Seeing her friend's troubles Edwina suggests a radical solution - Odell can temporarily change into Mona, Olive's sister. But as time goes on the temporary change goes further than the trio could ever imagine as Odell discovers the full range of a woman's life. Bras, jewelry, dresses and make up become a part of the former tough guy's life as he becomes to soften into a young ingenue. But what happens when men start taking an interest in him? Will Odell stay or will Mona emerge?
