A little white lie can make everything possible.

My internship wasn't with my ideal firm, but it was at the company my dream guy owned. I planned on impressing him with my architectural skills then let the rest fall into place, until he didn't recognize me.
Brent had no distractions in his life. Working and taking care of himself were his two obligations, and he took very good care of himself. His toned physique, hint of gray hair, and stellar confidence were too tempting not to have fun with for a few minutes before telling him who I really was. Or it should have been. Until my ruse came crashing down.

Would Brent be able to forgive me? Would we be able to get past the spark we'd both clearly felt before he figured out I was his best friend's daughter?

Working extra hours with interns was my way of giving back, doing my good deeds for the world. And I'd never once had a problem separating business and pleasure, which was also probably why I was still single, long after my college intern days. I focused way too much on business.
When I convinced my best friend to let his estranged daughter intern with us, I had no idea she'd be the woman to steal my heart.

After a little white lie tricked me into exposing my feelings for her, there was no way to deny my attraction. There was also no way to explain to my best friend that I was going to marry his daughter. When a photograph caught us in a compromising position, I had to make it right.

Could I salvage my decades long friendship and my heart?
