Years have passed since Jane Bennet married Charles Bingley and Elizabeth’s own engagement to Collins was ended. Despite the insistence of her mother, Elizabeth can not bring herself to marry someone she has no feelings for, yet she knows such a thing may not be practical. Then, when financial troubles leave the future of Longbourn in question, Elizabeth realizes she may not have a choice but to marry, even without love.

Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy has called off his engagement to Anne de Bourgh. He can not allow her to become mistress of Pemberley, but if he does not marry someone else, his Aunt Catherine de Bourgh will never truly allow the engagement to end.
