The Price of Honor: The Third Book in The Port Honor Series by T. S. Dawson
The Price of Honor is the third installment in The Port Honor Series. It deviates from the two main characters of the first two books and focuses on the life of Millie's Aunt Gayle. It answers the question as to why Aunt Gayle never married.

Initially introduced to Gayle Anderson in Port Honor in 1995, we are reintroduced to young Gayle in 1975. We are also introduced to other members of the Anderson family such as Millie's mother.

Like the books before it, The Price of Honor is not just a book about the romance between two characters. It also delves into the family dynamics and friendships between the characters. Backstories unfold along with the main idea providing for a multilayered peek into their lives.

Despite its connection to the first two books in the series, The Price of Honor is a stand alone book. Reading the first two books are not a requirement in order to understand The Price of Honor.
