Imperfect Harmony: A Lesbian Rockstar Romance by Echo R. Brooks
Three years have passed since Elise left Anna. Anna’s secrets came between them, and when Elise saw Anna leaving someone else’s hotel room, she finally decided she couldn’t take any more fights, any more lies, any more heartbreak. She went back home, packed up her life, and moved to a new town, starting a new life as the owner of a music shop, something she always wanted.

Anna is now Anna Hellier, the lead singer and guitarist of Long Slow Goodbye. The band is on tour, and Elise can’t escape the reminders that they’ll be in her town soon. She tells herself that she won’t go to the show, and it works until her friend Carrie – Anna’s sister and bandmate – pops into Elise’s music shop on the day of the show.

Against her better judgment, Elise agrees to go to the show, and then to an exclusive club with Carrie and her bandmates – minus Anna. But when Anna shows up, the chemistry between her and Elise is reignited. The tension between them explodes immediately, and all the old hurts come rushing back.

Elise believes that Anna cheated on her while they were together, but she’s got it all wrong. Anna’s got a secret, something that she’s hiding from Elise in shame. She can’t tell her the truth, though she’s desperate to. Try as they might, neither can stop thinking about the days when things were good between them.

But just as their feelings, their yearning for each other have been rekindled, something else comes between them. Something that might permanently destroy their chance of being together again.
