In Her Hero's Arms - Small Western Town Military Alpha Romance - Fort Balerno Series 2 by Jean Stokes
♥♥♥What’s more important—finding love or protecting your child from loss?♥♥♥
◆Kenzie Becker
Kenzie Becker’s daughter, Lailah, is not happy about moving to Fort Balerno. All her friends are in Austin, and so is her father. For Kenzie, the move represents a fresh start, both for her personal life and her new business. She tells herself that what’s good for her is good for her daughter, too—until she sees how depressed Lailah is. She wants to do what’s right for her daughter. That’s why she has to stay away from her brother’s sexy and successful friend, no matter how much she wants him.
The only problem is she didn’t anticipate how difficult it would be to turn down the man of her dreams. Is her daughter’s happiness really more important than her own?

◆Troy Andrews
Troy Andrews has a successful landscaping business in Fort Balerno and a good group of friends. Everything’s going great until he suddenly starts losing clients to a new competitor in town. When they start going after his friend’s sister, too, he’s had enough. Kenzie’s business is completely unrelated to landscaping—it’s as though they’re going after her just because he cares about her. Not that it matters. Her brother is determined to keep Troy away from her, claiming it’s not good for her daughter. Troy can’t help but wonder though, what does Kenzie want?

Author Note
This is the Fort Balerno story of Kenzie and Troy, a single mother military romance in a small-town western setting. As always with Jean Stoke there is a healthy dose of steamy scenes, an independent heroine, an alpha hero, a dash of humor, no cheating and a guaranteed happily ever after! There is no cliffhanger and can be read standalone but is ideally read along with the rest of the Fort Balerno series as you will love the characters and want to find out what happens to them!
