Arizona Skies: The Muse by S. Cruz

This is the first book in the Arizona Skies series.

At twenty-six, the lead singer of Arizona Skies is in danger of becoming a has-been. Hard drinking, hectic schedules, and more than a few women have left Jesse Greene unable to write new songs—a serious problem since the band just signed a lucrative recording contract.

Desperate to get Jesse’s creative juices flowing again, his manager demands the singer get away from the nightclubs and bars by going on a weeklong cruise hoping to jumpstart his songwriting skills...and save the lead singers career. Jesse is dead set against the idea, but the band is relying on him so he’s got no choice.

As they wait to step on board of the ship he sees her and his world is turned up-side down. Bailey Harris innocently stands on the dock looking up at him. He doesn’t know her name or anything about her, but Jesse is determined to meet her. He's already got lyric's swirling around in his head from just looking at her, he's convinced that she holds the keys to unlocking his inspiration. It's only a seven-day cruise, so he immediately gets his bandmates on a quest to find her. He figures shipboard romances never last, so he wants to take advantage of this opportunity to turn his dry spell around and save his career.

But as worldly as he is, Jesse doesn’t count on how deeply Bailey’s innocence and sweetness will change his life. And suddenly a weeklong cruise seems all too short.
