Awesome. Bold. Creative.

Homeroom Heroes brings you seven Christmas romances that celebrate our teachers and the compassion and dedication they bring to the classroom everyday.

From paranormal to contemporary to historical, there's something here to fill everyone with the spirit of the season.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Acadiana Writing Project.

“2:52” by Chelsi Arnold
Bethany Carter, a kindergarten teacher, is having one of ‘those’ days.
At 7:20, she spilt coffee all over herself.
At 9:36 she had to perform emergency surgery on Icky the Elf.
At 12:10 she discovered a mouse in one of her students’ backpack.
At 1:10 a student projectile vomited in the middle of the hallway.
At 2:00 her students never returned from P.E.
After the day she’s had, Bethany doesn’t believe things can get any crazier … Nothing could have prepared her for what happened at 2:52.

“The Substitute” by cj petterson
When FBI agent Aron Olsen is assigned to work undercover as a substitute adapted physical education teacher for physically and mentally challenged students, he knows he’ll need a lot of help. He is thrilled when his help appears in the beautiful form of first-grade teacher Melanie Andrews, who is also a Special Olympics volunteer. Together they learn to turn their can’ts into cans and their dreams into plans.

“F is for Family” by Isabella Norse
“Spontaneous” has never been a word used to describe elementary school teacher, Natalie Archer. Yet, here she is, taking care of a fellow teacher’s classroom pets during her Christmas break. Now her handsome new neighbor, Steve Rodgers, needs a last-minute sitter for his son, Evan. Agreeing to take care of Evan adds two males with a flair for impulsiveness to Natalie’s life—and she loves it. Maybe opposites really do attract.

“Saved by the Bell” by Jolie St. Amant
As a female football coach, Taylor Campbell has spent her career proving herself with no time for herself or a relationship. Making the state high school playoffs brings her to New Orleans and back to Luke Walker, her college boyfriend. The enchanting Chateau Rouge Hotel has a few plans to make sure these two former lovers have the chance to rekindle that old flame. Will Taylor win the playoffs and the heart of a certain brown eyed coach?

“Blooming Rose.” by Molly Zenk
Losing her job shouldn’t make her this excited. New York, 1888. Idealistic literature teacher Rose Carter always believed “when one door closes, another opens.” Being fired from her swanky prep school opens the door to traveling across the country to teach at the one and only high school in rural Jefferson, Colorado. There, with the help of eager students and local-boy-makes-good co-teacher Johnathon Poole, Rose blooms into who she is meant to be. When someone from her big city past appears, will she hold on to the joy she’s found or will it all go up in flames?
