Rare Sunshine: A Rockstar Romance by Millie Copeland, Emilia Brook
Layton Dunlap is Penelope Reid’s soulmate, but with a career like hers, there’s no room for bad boy rockstars. Now she’ll have to make a choice between what her heart wants and what’s easy.

Layton Dunlap is a full-blown rockstar.

Every night, in front of hundreds of thousands of adoring fans, he drums up a storm on stage, drowning in the panties being thrown at him. And if he’s not there, he’s trapped in his brother’s at-home personal studio, tinkering with their newest release until every note is perfect. But on the occasion he can sneak off, he finds his way to the mountains on his motorcycle, content to feel the wind in his hair.

Penelope Reid is an uptight lawyer.

She has worked her whole life for what she has now: partnership in the first women-only law firm in Los Angeles. Sure, the hours suck, she has to hide her tattoos, and she never sees her boyfriend, but she’s decided it was all worth it a long time ago. And she’s gone to great lengths to cultivate the life she now enjoys.

One weekend. One chance meeting. And they are both altered beyond repair. Now the only obstacle to their happily ever after seems to be Penelope herself.

Penelope must choose to either hold onto the life she has worked so hard to keep or burn it all to the ground… for love.

Rare Sunshine is a complete standalone, not attached to any series. There is an HEA and there are no cliffhangers. Be warned though, we like to put our characters through hell first.
