Centre Spot: Enemies to Lovers Book 1 by Gracie-Mae Harding
Katie:

Being an agent at a PR firm that helps manage superstars and celebrities in their downtimes and bring them back to the spotlight is a fascinating life. My experience precedes me, so I mostly always get the best clients, the most influential ones, and I do my job well.

When I find out that the next client I will be working with is my arch enemy from college, I can’t help feeling a little shaken. James Reed is a rich and popular football player whose impressive career recently took a downturn during the last football season when he got terribly injured, leading to a long string of more complicated issues.
Considering the slim chance of his comeback, maybe I should have expected the job. I am the salvage, after all. But how can I save someone I have always wanted to get back at?

James:

Having always been a star player, the down track from an active life filled with routines and preparations for tournaments to rehab and fan letters is depressing. The reporters aren’t making it easier either.

No matter what it will take, I need to be ready and back on the field by the next season, and I have been convinced that I need help.

When, however, help appears to be coming in the form of Katie Campbell, my old colleague in college with whom I didn’t exactly part nicely, I know that things are about to take an interesting turn. A far cry from the naïve girl I remember from college, this Katie sure does look a lot more mature, with all the right curves in the right places. Finally, a little something to spice up my life. This is going to be fun, after all.
