Cornish Sweets and Wedding Treats by Laura Briggs
Book two in the heartwarming new series whips up excitement, romance, and a few delectable surprises as the Grand Baking Extravaganza returns to the cosy village of Ceffylgwyn.

Julianne couldn’t be more excited to have the show filming its special wedding-themed edition in her business’s own rustic, renovated barn, especially with her old friend and former Cliffs House manor’s chef Dinah among the competitors. But Dinah’s competition is stiffer than ever for this baking challenge, especially from a certain ‘queen bee’ baker from Devon whose perfectionist style and uncanny parallel creativity to Dinah’s own has the normally sanguine baker seeing red.

Meanwhile, the village prepares a welcome fete for the competitors and their judges, the reunited Harriet and Pierre, who are still seemingly at odds over their reasons for parting company with the baking program in the past; and newcomer police sergeant Charlie must track down some village pranksters before they can sabotage the final competition. As if Julianne doesn’t have enough to do as the program’s ‘wedding consultant’ and a volunteer biscuit baker for the welcoming committee, she finds herself helping out one of the program’s new comic hosts … and accidentally engaging in a little matchmaking in Cliffs House’s kitchen, it would seem.

Readers are invited to share in the delightful chaos of Julianne’s latest adventure just before Valentine’s Day, with summer dreams and wedding cake fantasies destined to satisfy the sweetest of romantic cravings!
