After the embarrassment of being jilted at the altar, Sophie is desperate to get away from her failure of a life and decides to go on honeymoon alone to the Greek island of Kefalonia.

A disastrous start to her holiday results in a missed boat trip and a chance encounter with a widowed Greek fisherman, Nikolas. Exploring the hidden delights of this dreamy island, she encounter's its sad past and a near death experience that questions her perception of true love and happiness.

With her senses filled with the intoxicating scents, stimulating colours and hypnotic scenery, it is no wonder she falls in love with the history and culture of this Greek Paradise. But is that all that she falls in love with?

About the Author.....

Hi all..I am a single mum who lives in the wilds of Pembrokeshire on the West coast of Wales. I have written poetry as a way of expressing my own experiences for years but never attempted to write a novel until now.

After visiting Kefalonia and Ithaca for the first time in 2019, I fell in love with the sights, sounds, scents and simplicity of these dreamy Greek Islands. The places and people I met on my visit were the basis of my debut novel which I hope transports you all on a sensory journey allowing you to escape the confines of Covid19. The book is more faction than fiction as you can actually eat and stay in some of the places mentioned and follow in Sophies footsteps. Maybe meet a Nikolas of your own.

The book has now been professionally proof read and re-published
