When Lexie Harrington is asked to choreograph a Great Gatesby-themed wedding for tennis coach Mia and her groom-to-be Ed, she knows it’s going to be the most glamorous and glitzy occasion she has organised to date – and the most complicated. Art Deco-style ice sculptures, Champagne glass pyramids, and black-and-gold wedding cakes are the order of the day, along with plenty of flouncy ostrich feathers and lots of diamanté sparkle.

With handsome wedding columnist-turned-scriptwriter, Theo Barker, otherwise engaged in filming his cosy murder mystery TV show, can Lexie – along with quirky waistcoat-loving florist Jasper Curtis – deliver the dazzling, sophisticated, and most of all, hassle-free wedding the happy couple deserve; no confetti-filled hairdryers, no marble statues modelling a new line in paper thongs, no rampaging mechanical mice, and definitely no anchovies crammed into the air vents of the best man’s beloved Porsche?

But this is The Cornish Confetti Agency, and the words ‘straightforward’ and ‘stress-free’ do not feature in the promotional brochure.  So when the Lexie discovers a tangle of snakes in the back seat of the bridesmaid’s candy-pink Fiat 500, and the mini-golf tournament is more mayhem than Masters, she must once again turn amateur detective and unravel the mystery before the wedding becomes a Cornish Catastrophe – this time without Theo by her side.
