Thirteen Years and a Day: A slow burn, friends to lovers MM romance. by Robert Knight
Ash Reid and Logan Bishop couldn’t be more different if they tried.

One is the shy boy from the broken family. The other is the broken boy from the rich one.

From the moment they meet, their journey truly begins.

Through thick and thin, and through cruelty that no child should ever have to endure, they’re there for each other. They’re one.

With time, their friendship evolves and grows to the point where one can’t live without the other. They’re different, but they’re the same.

Friendship turns to more, and they’d never been happier.

Until the evil around them destroys everything.

Thirteen years later, they still couldn’t be more different.

Ash fights his daily battles while he tries to not even think about the boy with the blue eyes.

Meanwhile, Logan is buried in vices and more money than he knows what to do with. And he’d trade all of it in a heartbeat for the chance to see Ash again. To talk, and explain, and maybe heal. For the chance to just be them again.

Little do they know their time apart is coming to an end.

One silly viral video, and the dices are rolling.

Will they be ready for it when life finally reconnects them? Will Ash have had enough time to heal? Will Logan be strong enough to fight for them if that isn’t the case?

Thirteen years and a day is the first book in the Sapphire Scars trilogy. It features two childhood friends, questionable families, a sweet old lady, music, a hidden town in the mountains, and mild angst. It's also low heat. You’ll have to read the next two ones in the series if you want your fair share of smut.

IMPORTANT!! This book was previously released under the title Sapphire Scars, Volume One, by A.P. Moraez; so, if you've already bought/read that one, you don't need to buy this one or read it again. This is a relaunch with a new book title, new cover, and new pen name. I had to abandon that pen name for personal reasons.

ALSO IMPORTANT!!: This book ends on a cliffhanger, and the series has to be read in order for it to make sense.

TRIGGERS: psychological and physical abuse; depression; mental disorders; alcoholism.
