Poor Ella Stevens is forever cooking and cleaning. Her daddy says it’s all she needs to prepare her for adult life. Ella wonders when any kind of adult life will actually start for her.

To make matters worse, her daddy brings a woman home – Gretel is old enough to be her grandma and her hideous cackle makes Ella wince every time. Her stepmother-to-be would surely be a thorn in Ella’s side. Or so she thinks. Until she meets Ollie – the witch’s gorgeous son.
