Twenty year old Karen Downs finds herself in Louisville Kentucky trying to find a job so she won't be forced to go back home to Sheboygan. She takes a job as a topless dancer to be able to afford the apartment her father helped get for her. She is drawn into a world of crime as she works illegally to maintain her independence. After being recruited by two Louisville Metro Police detectives to help find a missing dancer, she is soon on the verge of becoming a victim herself. Her new found psychic powers lead them to finding the body, after which, they find the connection to a six year old cold case. There becomes an emotional conflict after Karen get's involved with detective Charon's son J R. After he dumps her, she soon finds out she's pregnant. Her dancing days are over, but her new psychic powers and her crime solving days have just begun.
