Shy People by Sarah Samuels

A WOMAN TOO SHY TO LOOK UP, MEETS A MAN TOO SHY TO SPEAK UP

~A contemporary romance low on angst and high on dreams coming true.~

Cassie Henry's world consisted of shoes, (mostly her own) and a variety of things shoes contacted—wood and tile, concrete and carpeting.

When Cassie did manage to look up, she caught the world in quick snapshots of impatient faces, dogs with their legs raised or supermarket shelves. What she saw of the wider world, she viewed through the windshield of her car.

Cassie Henry was shy.

Cassie Henry was alone.

Then her father gave her ten free dance lessons for her birthday. The card read:

“You don’t have to talk when you’re dancing. All my love, Dad.”

Cassie jammed the card and certificate back into the envelope.

But she didn't throw them away...

Shy People was authored by Adira August writing as Sarah Samuels to differentiate this purely romance novel from the erotica Addi also writes. Set in the world of ballroom dancing, Shy People features an American heroine and a British hero, colorful characters, a little bit of intrigue, and a guaranteed HEA.
