756 CE. A large part of Bharat-Varsa subcontinent is ruled by the Rashtrakuta Dynasty who came to power after overthrowing the Chalukyas. Art, culture, music, religion, and architecture reached their pinnacle during this time in Bharat-Varsa.

However, the Rashtrakuta King Krishna I and the kingdom are ailing from a fatal curse. The previous king Dantidurga, Krishna Raja’s nephew died under mysterious circumstances without any explanation. To rid the land of the curse the Rashtrakuta Queen vows to build a temple in the name of Lord Shiva.


Kokasa a famed Chalukyan architect travels to Manyakheta, the capital of the Rashtrakutas from Pattadakal. He gets pulled into royal matters as he finds himself attracted to the Queen. In a zest he finds himself vowing to build the impossible, racing against time.


Vasu is a modern-day lad who recently graduates with a Bachelor of Architecture from IIT, is going for a solo trip to the Ajanta and the Ellora caves in Maharashtra, India. He felt a deep attraction to these caves for years now and finally is on the train to Aurangabad to visit the fabled caves. But, dreams, omens, and premonitions keep bothering him throughout the trip. He feels that the world is trying to communicate with him as he happened to meet an exotic Indian origin Russian girl on his trip.


Are they all somehow tied through a string of deep past connections?


Is there more to the reality than what meets the eyes?
