She finds that it takes a friend to support and be supported by to put a life together. Lisa finds a BFF in Paula and together they build a business.
Lisa is the consummate sales woman. She travels to Singapore, in search of business and discovers friendship. Also, discovering along the way the problems of being half and half.
Worn out Lisa takes off to Hawaii on a mission to find the secret. Once she finds the secret, she finds that the secret is quite messy. Her notebook helps guide Lisa along the path to finally winning the secret. Lisa discovers as you will discover, the discipline of keeping the notebook to help win the secret. In the midst of her mission, Lisa meets Dana, a played out player, they fall in love. This after all is a love story
Identity comes into play again. Dana, as a lesbian courts Lisa. Then time resets and repeats itself. This time Dana as a male is courting Lisa. The circumstances are the same but the differences of female-female and male-female courtship are explored, with the added dimension of a transsexual Lisa thrown in the mix. When time catches up with itself. You the reader are left to apply your own identity to Dana, female or male or both, through the hard times and family times ahead for the couple.
