Fighting Chance by R.K. Munin
Living on her own after escaping an abusive husband, Diana is determined to never again find herself in a situation where she’s helpless. It takes all her courage to walk into a local boxing gym and talk to Lucas, one of the handsome trainers. They work out a deal; he’ll train her and she’ll clean the gym.

After a disastrous first meeting with Damien, the hulking scar-faced co-owner of the gym, she leaves, never wanting to return. But between Lucas' charm and her own conviction to be courageous, she finds herself back at the gym, accepting a tentative friendship with Damien, and slowly allowing both of them to win her over. Soon, she’s learning a lot more than self-defense. Her personal trainers teach her affection, self-confidence, and pleasure.

But she’s got a lot of scars, mental and physical, from her years of abuse. Can she let the past go and learn to trust these men? Is it possible for her to have her own happily ever after?

This is a 109K word stand alone novel with a brave woman overcoming the odds and finding her HEA.

Trigger warning: several characters in this book have been abused and they will describe their abuse.
