Moving to Collins River was a new start for me. I never wanted to make any waves and I certainly didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention to myself while I finished out my last year in high school.

The only reason we moved was to get a break from all the dark things that were scattered in my past, and I was finally moving past them. There was no way that the demons from years ago could resurface.

I wasn't that lucky. What happens when you mouth off to the King of campus? He makes sure that he is able to keep an eye on you so you don't step out of line in his kingdom. But is gaining his trust enough to keep me safe from the danger that threatens to consume me?
