When Savannah opened a matchmaking firm with her friends, just like her mom and grandma did before her, she made the mistake of thinking it'll come easy for her. And where clients are concerned, it does…but the algorithms never seem to work in her own favor.

James hasn't had any luck finding love. Not with speed dating, online dating, or blind dating. He's tired of sharing his personal life over the airwaves, so when the producer of his morning show sets him up with a new matchmaking service, he's immediately wary of the impending disaster.

The day Savannah lands in Fiji for her brother's wedding also happens to be the day she gets the worst algorithm match of them all: James, her old crush…and her brother's best friend. Growing up, they were off limits to one another because James would never go against bro code: never date your best friend's little sister.
