He'd spent years living with his past and family decisions. A Prince, no longer a Prince but still, he held the title. His life now more business than duty. No longer a dreamer. He did as he wished. Took care of those that belonged to him, let others go by the wayside. His reputation as a playboy preceding him. Not that he was interested, not that he cared. Very little made him care any longer. She loved this place. The sounds and smells, the culture and way of life. The people and how they lived their lives, steeped in the ancient world, customs and norms challenging the modern world. She liked old. Loved the majesty of the history and buildings, the sounds of the language, musical and beautiful. Everything about this country calling to her, Its mix of Turkish and Arabic in everything around her. You could almost believe the magic of Arabian Nights, along with the history of a bygone era. It was both modern and ancient. And it called to her.

He was stunningly handsome in traditional rich Arabian clothing, unusual for this place but he wore it well. Comfortable in his own skin, confident in who he was. Too confident. Too determined.

That put her on edge. He was used to getting what he wanted, that was obvious. Declining, she packed up to his surprise walking away. Hell no. That was a complication she wasn't looking for…..
