Littles Cottage by the River Akira

Akira is in a verbally abusive relationship with Joe, her boyfriend of two years. She loves him with all her heart. She knows who he really is and no one can tell her any different. Not even her neighbors, who seem very sweet and are always there to take care of her. It takes a few events and some good neighbors to help open her eyes. Akira is missing out, but she can’t seem to outrun her past, living with a man who doesn’t respect her. Can she find help and learn to let go of what haunts her, becoming the girl she was meant to be? Or will fate have something else in mind?
