She didn't want to know her half-sisters. They'd had both parents including their father. What had she had? A mother worked into the ground and Leukemia. Years of treatment affecting her body and system taking years to recover. When both her half-sisters came calling, it was a shock. She'd not known of them until that very moment. Her mother not passing on much information about her father, other than he wasn't the man she'd thought he'd been and they were better off without him. Two half-sisters on her doorstep kinda supported that.
Angry she'd told them to piss off and not come near her again. They'd tried a couple more times, every few years, but she blanked them. When she'd needed someone, they weren't there, now, she didn't need anyone.

But one good thing came out of it all, the need to be a doctor, a surgeon. To help others. To do no harm and she threw herself into her studies. It was her biggest goal. They had saved her life as a child. It seemed only fair, that she give something back.

And that worked great, until he walked into her life, her apartment, and told her they were leaving.

This couldn't be the woman his brother had sent him after?

She looked like a child with her long almost white hair down to her ass, petite, small waisted with an hourglass figure and full rack. And an attitude to piss off any man. She was a challenge. One he liked.

She had no idea of the danger she was in. Or had the ability to defend herself. And yet showed no sign of fear faced with him and his men standing in her living room. She was a quandary, but it was definitely her.

He smiled seeing her holding the banana and paring knife. Did she really think that would hold him off?
