Dashing Through Christmas: Mistaken Identity Holiday Romance by Rachelle Ayala

Misty Jolly and Dash Weston play guessing games while rushing through a Christmas project with no help from Westie, a “talking” dog.

Event planner Misty Jolly is always in a rush. With no time to finish a thought, much less a cup of coffee, she’s hired by Gordon Gills to put on a grand indoor Christmas fair in the spanking new convention and retail center. The original Christmas Creek settlers, including her parents, aren’t sure having Santa in a heated gazebo with an artificial skating rink and electronic northern lights display is a good idea, but Misty has no time to listen to their concerns.

While rushing to a meeting with a cantankerous contractor, Misty barely misses running over a dog wearing a red superhero’s cape. With no time to look for his owner, she scoops up the Westie terrier and takes him to her meeting.

Dash Weston has no time for Christmas fun and festivities. A retail executive, all he cares about is cleaning up his bottom line at Christmastime. The big Christmas Creek project is over budget and overdue. A mere blizzard isn’t going to stop him from investigating. When his private plane overshoots the Christmas Creek runway, he makes it out alive and decides to run the rest of the way.

What he doesn’t expect is a high-energy female who so unnerves him, especially after almost running over him, that he’s tongue-tied and unable to communicate. How can he watch helplessly while she mismanages the biggest event of his lifetime while taking his heart on a topsy-turvy joyride? And what will he do when she discovers who he really is?
