Any Witch Way: I Put a Spell on You by Carly Keene
SAGE:
I don't wear a pointy hat or even dress like Stevie Nicks, but I'm a white witch.
I come from a long line of women with the Power.
Don’t ask me for a love potion; I don't believe in them.
What I do believe in is that opening yourself to positive influences can call love to you.
At the insistence of my sister, I perform a love calling ritual.
The very next day, Detective Turner walks into my shop, with his green eyes and his broad shoulders and his infuriating devotion to rationality, and I just know.
This is who the universe sent me. I don't know why he feels so right, but he does.
I'm sure.

CABOT:
I'm a firm believer in science and logic — and in nothing else.
I understand that love is merely a cocktail of attraction hormones and silly childhood dreams, and I certainly don’t think magic exists.
In the course of an investigation, I meet shop owner Sage, and my attraction to her bowls me over.
Her relentless faith in magic and the balance of the universe is annoying and irrational.
But the worst thing is, I can’t stop thinking about her. Can’t stop wanting her.
Any which way I can get her.
